I have lived in the Four Corners region for over 20 years, and it has long been my passion to support children and families in my community. I believe that every child deserves to feel heard, understood, and valued, and I strive to create a space where they can safely express themselves and grow.
My approach to therapy is rooted in play, connection, and curiosity. I am especially drawn to child-centered play therapy, and I believe in the idea that “Birds fly, fish swim, and children play.” Through play, children communicate their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in ways that words alone often cannot. In our work together, I focus on truly listening to what children are expressing and supporting them as they make sense of their world, build confidence, and develop the tools they need to navigate challenges.
Clients can expect a supportive, patient, and child-centered environment where their unique needs guide the therapeutic process. I work to meet each child where they are, helping them express themselves, strengthen emotional regulation, and feel more secure in themselves and their relationships.
My background includes working closely with children and families across a variety of settings. I have taught high school students practical writing skills to prepare them for college, worked as a home healthcare provider for nearly a decade, and supported elementary-aged students in both classroom and small group settings focused on emotional awareness and behavioral regulation. I have also provided one-on-one support for children with developmental disabilities and worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), helping children build communication skills, engage safely with their environment, and develop positive, functional behaviors.
I am honored to walk alongside children and families as they grow, heal, and discover their strengths.
