Riversage Family Counseling
Specializing in treating complex issues with strength and compassion

Hillary Wolfe, LCSW

I am a Durango native, born and raised. Having lived here my whole life, I have deep roots in this community and understand the joys and struggles of living in a rural town.

I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in Human Services from Fort Lewis College, and my Masters in Clinical Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University. My passion is working with children, adolescents and families but I also have experience working in field based settings, inpatient, substance abuse and out-patient settings with both children and adults. I have specialized training in the treatment and elimination of migraine headaches.

Like the stereotypical Durangatang my family and I love the outdoors; skiing, hiking, mountain biking, rafting, you name it and we are up for it. When I am not spending time with my wild toddler and husband, or outside, you will find me reading and developing my therapeutic skills.

I have literally spent hundreds of hours training in order to serve my clients in the most skillful way I possibly can. I use a solution-focused philosophy, believing children and families come into therapy to work towards solutions that will allow them to navigate their lives more skillfully. The therapeutic approaches I use, proven evidenced based approaches, are informed by how our brains work and what they need to promote healing.

I know that contacting a therapist can be intimidating so please let me know if I there is any way I can make it easier for you and/or your family.

I am available by phone (970) 769-0131 email HillaryWolfeLCSW@gmail.com or you click here to schedule an appointment.
